At Advanced Cosmetic Technologies, we realize that our products have an impact both on our consumers and the environment. We keep that in mind when developing our products, from the ingredients to the carton. We strive to be eco-conscious in all our materials, while providing the safest, highest quality and best performing products possible. We're proud to say that our products are made in the USA.

Our ingredients

Only 100% plant-based dyes are used in our hair color and tinting products, never any harsh chemicals or synthetic dyes. While synthetic hair dyes might be cheaper, that is about the only positive thing that can be said about them. Many sources indicate that synthetic hair dyes have a long list side effects, including being allergens, irritants and having a questionable negative impact on your health.

A number of studies have implicated para-phenylenediamine (PPD) as a carcinogen. One manufacturer of this ingredient warns on its website that it does not recommend use of PPD ingredient in products that require prolonged skin contact as it may cause allergic reactions in sensitive people.

Our packaging

Our carton and insert material is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is made of 80% post-consumer materials and is printed with vegetal inks. The energy used by the printer to make the cartons is fueled by wind power.
Be sure to recycle the plastic bottles, insert and carton when you’re done with them. We all need to do our part in minimizing waste.

Our dyes come from plants - a resource that is easily renewed and sustainable. Sustainable means it is a resource that can be replaced at the same rate at which it can be consumed by humans. This means an ultra-low environmental impact.
